About Brian..

Dog Trainer, Behavior Specialist, Somatic Guide

I’ve worked professionally with dogs and their people for over 20 years. My work goes beyond obedience or any single training style and focuses on behavior, structure, and the patterns that shape how dogs and humans function together over time.

Since 1998, I’ve worked across veterinary care, shelter and rescue environments, companion dog training, working dogs, and sport dogs. My experience includes private coaching, group classes, board-and-train programs, and long-term case support for both dog owners and canine professionals.

Lasting progress comes from clear structure, steady leadership, and realistic expectations. Techniques matter, but context, timing, and nervous system state matter more. Most ongoing problems are not about disobedience — they are the result of unclear systems and inconsistent support.

My approach is practical, grounded, and designed for real life. I work with dogs and people who want clear guidance that holds up outside of training sessions and over time.

This work is best suited for those seeking thoughtful, consistent training rather than quick fixes or rigid formulas.

Each month, one donation-based session is reserved for a qualified applicant.
